PLEASE READ BEFORE USING THE FACILITY (WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE)
WHO IS PERMITTED TO USE THE COURTS?
1. Only checked-in Members are permitted to play in the facility.
2. Non-members must purchase a day pass using self-service Zelle or Cash drop. Please make sure to sign in. Non-members can only play from 9 A.M – 10:30 P.M.
3. Parents accompanying their children to classes are not permitted to play on the courts unless they are members or have purchased a non-member pass.
4. Non-members found inside the courts without obtaining a day permit in advance will be subject to a $50 fine.
Members who bring guests into the courts without a valid day pass risk either:
Automatic deduction of a $50 fine from their membership account, or
Loss of membership privileges.
Please ensure all guests have secured the proper permits before entering the courts.
BASIC RULES OF Arise Sports Complex
1. In case of members waiting on queuing courts, please put your name on sheet/board on the wall. Limit playing time to 2 games or 20 minutes.
2. Please be considerate of other waiting members. Kindly vacate the area after completing 2 games or once 20 minutes have passed—whichever comes first.
3. Please bring your own shuttles for play. Training shuttles are not to be used.
SHOES FOR Arise Sports Complex
1. Non-marking badminton shoes are required.
2. Anyone who wears shoes that leave marks on the badminton courts will be have to pay $100 cleaning for playing with marking shoes.
DURING TOURNAMENTS
Arise Sports Complex reserves the right to close off open play during tournaments.
COURTS ALLOCATION (RESERVATIONS AND TRANING)
1. Courts 7 through 14 (Courts 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14) are available for use by reservation only. Text 281-934-4477 or 310-428-6564 anytime to reserve.
2. Courts 2, 4, and 6 are designated as queuing courts for members. Queueing rules apply on these courts.
3. Courts 1, 3, and 5 are reserved for training during designated times. Outside of these times, they are available for regular reservations.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I WANT TO CHANGE/SUSPEND OR CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP?
1. Any membership modifications are subject to a $10 fee and must be requested in writing, without involving Arise front desk. Changes can take upto 10 days to implement.
2. Cancellation of membership requires 30 days’ notice by email or text to 310.428.6564. There is a yearly contract in all monthly membership. We will be able to cancel monthly membership for a fee of 50$ if membership is less then 3 months old. Over 3 months cancellation can be done without any charges as long as 30 days’ notice is given.
3. Membership Hold – 10-day notice required. There is a 10$ fee per month to keep membership active.
4. Membership and training modification requests are made by using text or email only.
5. Once membership is cancelled, there will be a 60$ initiation fee for rejoining.
6. No Refunds in any case because there is almost 10-15% cost on taxes and maintenance.
7. We retain the right to terminate membership (without refunds) if a member is discovered utilizing invalid member IDs, displaying erroneous family IDs, or misusing or littering the facility.
LOSS AND FOUND CRITERIA
1. Arise Sports Complex is not liable for the personal belongings of its members. Any items discovered during cleaning will be placed in the front desk’s lost and found box.
2. Anyone alleging a missing item must provide proof of ownership to the front desk.
3. Members are accountable for their personal belongings.
4. We advise adding labels to personal belongings, particularly BIRDIES tubes, bags, and racquets.
5. When approaching staff for assistance, be humble, polite, and patient.
CAN I TEACH AT Arise Sports complex?
1. Arise Sports Complex provides coaches and a training program. Sports and badminton governing agencies like USAB and Safe Sports USA have approved of the coaches. Anyone who wants training can enroll in one of our programs. You are not permitted to train anyone in this space if you are not affiliated with and working as a coach at Arise.
2. Training can only be provided through our program and by a Arise Sports Complex coach.
3. Badminton training of any kind, including feeding birds or shuttlecocks, is absolutely prohibited. Members will be charged $50 fine from their account every time this incident occur.
4. Drop Ins can use the facility to play badminton games only with other members or drop Ins. Use of the facility for training or feeding birds or shuttlecocks is strictly prohibited. Drop ins will be asked to leave and asked to pay a $50 fine.
Use of Gym
1. Arise Sports Complex gym is only for members and athletes registered in our program. Any drop in will be subject to a 50$ fine, if found using gym equipment.
2. Athletes training have priority to use gym over members. Please leave the gym and give space to athletes during their training times. Feel free to use the equipment after they are done.
Racket Stringing
1. No warranty on Rackets. Only guarantee is on brand new Yonex Japan rackets. We won’t be able to replace any rackets cracked or broken during stringing due to any reasons. Please make sure to request tension based on rackets originality. Duplicate Yonex rackets should not be strung over 20 lbs. Non Japan Yonex or any other rackets maximum allowed tenson is 22 lbs.
